The Rangers have recalled forward prospect Will Cuylle from the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL ahead of what will be his NHL debut.

In a corresponding move, Sammy Blais has been assigned to Hartford for conditioning.

Cuylle, a native of Toronto, will have his first NHL action come in his hometown when the Rangers visit the Maple Leafs on Wednesday night, head coach Gerard Gallant told reporters on Tuesday.

Cuylle, 20, has 13 goals and seven assists in 39 games this season for Hartford. He leads the team in goals and is third in points.

In two seasons with Hartford, Cuylle has 15 goals and 10 assists in 57 games.

Cuylle was selected by the Rangers in the second round (60th overall) of the 2020 NHL Draft.
