Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham are amongst the busiest clubs going at the moment as we enter the second week of the January transfer window. All three are eager to strengthen their squads this month in pursuit of respective glory, with the Blues leading the charge. Having all-but signed Joao Felix, Graham Potter is now reportedly looking to bring Leandro Trossard to Stamford Bridge too.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are said to FINALLY be closing in on the signing Mykhailo Mudryk after previously having seen two bids for the winger rejected. With Chelsea – who were also keen – ready to welcome Felix, the Gunners could now have a free run.

Over at Spurs, Pedro Porro is a target, although Chelsea are casting keen eyes. Harry Kane continues to be linked away with both Real Madrid and Manchester United – who will soon sign Wout Weghorst – said to be interested. Follow all of the latest news, gossip and rumours below!

McCoist: Felix fee ‘absolute madness’

Ally McCoist does not believe Joao Felix will solve Chelsea’s issues in forward areas.

The 23-year-old’s move to Chelsea on loan for the rest of the season will be announced later today, with the Blues paying Atletico Madrid a loan fee and covering Felix’s wages in full.

“I’ve got to say I can’t believe we’re paying £10m for a loan now – absolute madness,” McCoist told talkSPORT.

“I like Joao Felix [but] I don’t think he’s the answer to Chelsea’s problems. They need a centre-forward. Plus, I don’t think he’s consistent enough.

“I watched him closely at the World Cup and I thought he did some brilliant things. I thought he had one or two good games.

“But he’s one of those players, for me, he just leaves you wanting a little bit more.”

Tielemans future undecided

Leicester continue to push for Youri Tielemans to sign a new contract at the club.

The midfielder, strongly linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer, will be a free agent at the end of the season as it stands, with Tielemans rejecting a string of offers from the Foxes.

Sky Sports report that Leicester would be willing to sell this month, though they accept it’s unlikely any bids will come in considering the Belgian’s contract situation. It‘s claimed there is still a chance Tielemans agrees a new deal.

Ten Hag coy on Weghorst

Speaking after Manchester United’s win over Charlton last night, Erik ten Hag refused to be drawn on the potential loan signing of Wout Weghorst.

“No, unfortunately, I can’t,” Ten Hag responded when asked if he could give an update.

The United boss was though full of praise for 21-year-old Facundo Pellistri after he made his debut for the club.

“I see a future in [Pellistri],” Ten Hag said. “He is doing really well, he is progressing.

“Also against Everton [in last month’s friendly], I was really happy with his performance. He is coming on and has an effect, that is the next step.”

Chelsea in for Porro

Chelsea are prepared to rival Tottenham for the signing of Pedro Porro.

Spurs are believed to have made the Sporting Lisbon full-back their top priority this month, but 90min report that the Blues are also considering Porro and have initiated initial contact.

It’s claimed they too have been told there is no room for negotiation, and the release clause of €45m must be paid in full.

Real Madrid want Harry Kane

Harry Kane being linked with a move away from Tottenham is hardly anything new but something now feels different.

Out of contract in 18 months, the England captain is yet to sign a fresh deal and will surely consider his future should Spurs fail to qualify for the Champions League.

A player of such quality is hardly going to be short on offers and, according to Fichajes, Real Madrid are eager to sign him.

Chelsea could be lumbered with Lukaku

Inter Milan are considering letting Romelu Lukaku return to Chelsea at the end of the season.

Ahead of talks to renew his loan deal, the Italians are worried about his injury record, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Lukaku will have to prove his fitness to a high degree given the cost of such a deal.
